DVBC Brandywine Tour – 2017
August 27, 2017 @ 7:15 am - 5:00 pm
“It should be on your bucket list – it’s the Tour you want to ride!”
Delaware Valley Bicycle Club’s 42nd Annual Brandywine Tour meanders through the beautiful Brandywine Valley, traversing much of the area where Revolutionary War troops marched and fought at the Battle of the Brandywine. Five low-traffic road cycling route options – 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 miles. Rolling to hilly terrain with long flat stretches. The 80 and 100 mile routes ride through pristine Amish farm country in Lancaster County. Travel at your own pace, with family or friends, or make new cycling friends. Tour proceeds after DVBC expenses go to a variety of bicycling advocacy organizations.
NEW: WE’VE JUST ADDED A 26 MILE “SHORTCUT” ROUTE FOR THOSE WHO WANT A BEAUTIFUL BICYCLE RIDE THROUGH HORSE COUNTRY BUT WITH FEWER HILLS (STILL HAS 1,600 FT OF ASCENT). PLEASE ASK FOR THE CUE SHEET AND MORE INFO AT THE DAY-OF REGISTRATION DESK.
NOTE: DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS ON AUGUST 27 ARE WELCOME: $35 FOR MEMBERS, $45 FOR NON-MEMBERS, CASH OR CHECK ONLY. GPX ROUTE FILES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THIS PAGE ON FRIDAY AUGUST 25.
